Rethinking a career progression is not uncommon; however, the challenges it poses can make pivots difficult to discuss. I offer to you a platform for open dialogue and guidance on making the switch. From a pre-veterinary undergraduate track to a doctoral student in CSD and now a consultant, my experiences will advise you on how to make your career pivot a successful one.

Ariel works as a Consulting Analyst at Accenture. She graduated with degrees in Communication Sciences & Disorders and Spanish from Northwestern University in 2018. Following graduation, Ariel continued her studies at Northwestern pursuing a Ph.D. and clinical doctorate of audiology (Au.D.) in the department of Communication Sciences & Disorders. After one year in the program, she harnessed her skills in statistical analyses, strategic communication, and data analytics and pivoted them to the business sector, specifically consulting.
