About the Program

The Northwestern Network Mentorship Program was designed by the Northwestern Alumni Association (NAA) to foster meaningful relationships between alumni mentors and alumni or student mentees that will help mentees better navigate their career path. Mentors are Northwestern alumni who are passionate about helping students and alumni develop skills for the workplace and expand their professional networks. The program also offers an important opportunity for alumni mentors to engage with the Northwestern community and experience a rewarding relationship with a mentee who is eager to learn from them.

Program participants will use the online platform to connect; student and alumni mentees will use the database to search for and request alumni mentors.

During the pilot phase of the program, the program was marketed to students and alumni who aspire to or currently work in specific career industries. The program is now open to alumni from all classes and schools to participate as volunteer mentors, mentees or both (students may participate as mentees only).
